I guarantee it.
sry, nope
The last person to say that was rather publicly embarrassed. Sure you want to go down that road?
Over half a trillion isks worth of titans was lost without people being able to load grid or move. Do you really think CCP will allow that to stand?
Lets see shall we?
They won't get reimbursed.
The lag issues in fleet fights are not new, and we all know about lag in Dominion. If they reinburse the losses, they will have to retrospectively reiumburse all of NC's losses in Geminate against ATLAS too. And do so in any large, laggy fights going forward. It simply won't happen. Fact.
The precedent has already been set, and it wasn't set tonight. ----------

hahaha
It doesn't take CCP to move people into the system during the day, slowly building up your forces like IT did, so you don't have to jump 700 into 650 who are already loaded and in position.
You guys chose the last, and worst, possible moment to leeroy in. And you paid the inevitable price.
Now, kindly take your e-spaceship whines and tell someone who cares, like your internal forums. You were lazy, inept, and you did something you knew would end badly.
Bravo ----------

Mate your a pet, Just dont talk.
SOT lost sov because they failed and we were forced to jump in or lose system without trying. However the game has become a case of who is in system first and not about who has the most ships or what ships they are in. Numbers and FCs now are totally irrelivant. Shooting people at a E warp point isnt skill.
Sorry - I must have missed the part where there was a dark, invisible force, which prevented you entering the system during the day and building up your forces like IT did, so you wouldn't have to jump in en-masse at the last possible moment.
Poor you ----------

1) Decision to jump so many titans into way overcrowded system with node that was not reinforced?
2) CCP's inability to make this game playable for big fleet battles.
/cheers GG
1) If a corp leaves an alliance before downtime, Then all sov at downtime will drop to neutral. So that means you cant ask for a node to be reinforced. SO this means that the attacker has the advantage. According the CCP tho: If you are going to attack a system you must request a node to be reinforced. This doesnt happen. Thus means that the defending entity is forced to act
2) CCP Wanted large fleet battles because it makes more people play. However cant forget the vets who have played this game for years. At which point a large fleet battle isnt fun anymore unless it loads. Sitting for 3 hours watching a blank screen, Then you see damage messages isnt fun.
As people keep pointing you, and you keep failing to understand - everyone had equal notice of sov dropping. Anyone could have been the 'attacker' as you put it - technically there was no defender since sov was neutral.
The fact is that IT took the initiative and got in the system first, and stayed in there. You, on the other hand, waited until the last possible moment to bridge everyone in. And everyone knows how that works out, but you decided to do it anyway, and everyone could have predicted the result.
The mistake was yours, not CCP's or anyone elses. You didn't get in system earlier, you let IT take the initiative. That was your choice, not CCP's.
And anyway, you didn't have to jump in at all. Check your alliance ticker. Why should the NC care what happens in Y-2, it's precisely zero threat to you whoever owns that station. When you combine all these considerations - not getting in system earlier, bridging everyone in at once, knowing how lag favours those already in position, the system being irrelevant to the NC anyway... well, it's shockingly stupid that you decided to bridge in anyway and hope for the best.
Stop crying and learn from your mistakes

There are many ways to create the number of simultaneous connections needed. CCP decided instead to not spend the money on testing and instead pursued a failed policy of relying on Volunteers to do their testing for them.
hahaha
oh please, spare us the crocodile tears about server performance
you guys have happily used lag and node crashes deliberately to gain advantage many times in the past - deal with it

Under current ****ed up sov mechanics its basically impossible to capture a defended station, where there is a significant timezone difference... maybe when the sov system gets tweaked, but right now its just pointless even trying

you mean you like dominion, IT just took advantage of their TZ advantage and the currently known server issues in eve post dominion by having 600+ in non-reinforced system long before we could get enough together to respond to their sudden taking of a station system because someone failed.
how dare IT log in and play eve during their timezone... filthy sploiters

This. CCP is pretty much epic fail right now, I wouldn't be surprised to see a fair few subscribers not renewing after the way CCP and GMs have dealt with such matters.
Well, who cares? Most people agree they dislike uberblobs anyway. EVE would be a better game with a quarter of the playerbase it has now. ----------
